Citizens Advice Call For Volunteer Telephone Advisers
Citizens Advice is looking to recruit volunteer telephone Advisers for its East Dorset and Purbeck service.
Citizens Advice in East Dorset and Purbeck is an independent charity that relies entirely on volunteer advisers to assist people with free, confidential and impartial advice, enabling them to move forward with their lives.
Based either working remotely from home or when restrictions allow, working from the office in Wimborne or Wareham, the telephone advisers will provide advice on a range of different subject areas. Full training and support will be given.
Mandi Douglas, Advice Quality and Training Manager, said: “Our telephone advisers are invaluable to us delivering our service to local residents. Since the first lockdown, the demand for our service is ever increasing and we need to be able to provide a level of service which can match this demand.”
“No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn as full training will be given. Once training is complete, we do ask that people can commit to a minimum of 8 hours a week.”
